For Jack Ridl, poet and friend and Dumbledore of Creative Writing, whose new poetry volume “Saint Peter and The Goldfinch” is out since April 1 (no joke!) and will be celebrated today in Douglas, Michigan. Those who know Jack Ridl’s poems know that they fall into that special category Garrison Keillor once called “Good Poems for Hard Times”.
